Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller in "DAUWRAUW | A Bruegelian Landscape" - Ter Dilft Cultural Center, Bornem, Belgium - Highlights - Luhring Augustine

Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller are included in “DAUWRAUW | A Bruegelian Landscape,” a group exhibition focusing on the master engravings by Pieter Bruegel the Elder, enriched with seven contemporary artists’ perspectives. The exhibition is on view at Ter Dilft Cultural Center in Bornem, Belgium from June 30 through September 30, 2024.

In this artistic homage to Bruegel, with the landscape taking center stage, visitors discover a synthesis of art and nature in and around Castle Marnix de Sainte-Aldegonde in Bornem (Antwerp) that reflects the profound layered complexity of Bruegel's works. The invited artists, Francis Upritchard, Mark Manders, Ana Prvacki, mountaincutters, Monika Emmanuelle Kazi, Joan Jonas and Cardiff & Miller, have created new works or reinterpreted existing artworks within this enchanting context.
