“Charles Atlas: About Time”

Charles Atlas is a pioneer in the genre of “media dance” — dance meant to be captured by camera rather than viewed in person. The exhibition uses several multichannel video installations to create an immersive experience where the viewer can walk around and among the videos. This show unfolds against the backdrop of shifting social and political climates in the United States, and it investigates themes of gender, sexuality and friendship. Through March 16; ICA Boston, icaboston.org
