Salman Toor
Jared Bowen joins artist Salman Toor at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University to journey through his artistic evolution, from his early days inspired by 17th and 18th-century masters to his current exploration of nocturnal notions of queer life. Toor's paintings embody boldness, edginess, beauty, and tenderness, painting a vivid picture of the queer, brown experience in a world that bridges his homeland in Pakistan and the diaspora.
