FOG Design+Art Fair

Luhring Augustine is pleased to present a selection of new works on paper and a sculpture by Christopher Wool for FOG Design+Art 2018. Each of the unique works on paper is composed by employing various printmaking techniques such as silkscreen and etching, often in combination with hand made markings. Cast in pigmented concrete, the sculpture’s rough and irregular shape derives from a found object, and evokes the gesture seen in his two-dimensional works. Represented throughout the works is Wool’s characteristic approach to appropriation and abstraction.
