The following virtual programming has been organized in conjunction with Luhring Augustine's exhibition Frank Auerbach: Selected Works, 1978-2016:


November 15-16: A special online screening of the documentary FRANK, in which Auerbach charts his own artistic history through 70 years of work. “The film about my father I said I’d never make” - Jake Auerbach, filmmaker. Please RSVP for a private link to access the film: rsvp@luhringaugustine.com.   


November 17 at 1pm (EST): In collaboration with The Brooklyn Rail, Luhring Augustine has organized a virtual conversation about Auerbach’s legacy and his impact on painting in the 20th century. Participants include Catherine Lampert, Auerbach’s long-time sitter, as well as a curator and scholar on his work; Jim Lewis, American novelist and essayist; and Phong H.
